Purpose
This policy aims to ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment free from sexual harassment for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors at GPGC Mansehra and within the Tarbiyat Internship Platform.
Scope
This policy applies to:
- All students, faculty, staff, mentors, and third parties (e.g., vendors, contractors) associated with the platform.
- All platform-related settings: virtual meetings, internship sites, events, field activities, online communications, emails, and social media interactions.
- All participating educational institutions and partner organizations.
Definition of Sexual Harassment
Sexual harassment includes, but is not limited to:
1. Unwelcome Advances
Repeated or inappropriate expressions of romantic/sexual interest.
2. Inappropriate Communication
Written or verbal communication of a sexual nature: comments, jokes, or messages with sexual content (in person or digitally).
3. Unwanted Physical Contact
Physical conduct of a sexual nature: unwanted touching, gestures, or physical contact with sexual intent.
4. Quid Pro Quo
Request for sexual favors: demands or suggestions for sexual acts in exchange for academic, internship, or professional benefits.
5. Sexually Demanding Attitude
Persistent sexual attention, innuendo, or pressure, especially in power-imbalanced relationships.
6. Academic/Work Interference
Harassment affecting a person's ability to study, work, or participate fully in internship activities.
7. Hostile Environment
Conduct that creates fear, discomfort, or emotional distress due to its sexual nature.
8. Retaliation
Punishing or mistreating someone for rejecting advances or filing a complaint.
Complaint Mechanism
π Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)
The platform will maintain an ICC comprising at least one woman and chaired by a senior faculty member. The ICC will handle all complaints confidentially and promptly.
How to File a Complaint:

Identity of complainant and accused kept confidential
Disciplinary Actions
If found guilty, the accused may face one or more of the following consequences:

- βΈοΈ Suspension from classes/work/internship activities
- π« Debarment from exams, platform access, or internship opportunities
- β Termination of employment or expulsion from the platform
Protection from Retaliation
π‘οΈ Retaliation against any person for reporting sexual harassment or participating in an investigation is strictly prohibited and will be treated as misconduct.

The platform and participating institutions will conduct:
